The summer solstice marks the point when the sun is at its highest giving us the most daylight hours we'll experience during the entire year. It is a time of expansion, renewal, and vitality. During this workshop, we'll draw on energy of the summer sun while we create sage and wildflower smudge sticks and charm bags to support us on our journey into the summer season.
Attendees will be able to create and take home the following:
- A charm bag to harness the revitalizing, renewing, and joyful energy of the sun to carry with them throughout the summer season. Each bag will be include: an Herb & Stone branded reusable muslin pouch; solar related herbs; solar energy crystals; locally grown and harvested sunflower seeds to plant at home; and a playful coloring meditation featuring the Sun Tarot card and intention setting for the season
- A sage and wildflower smudge stick inspired by our best-selling handmade smudgers. We'll provide you with a step-by-step hands-on tutorial along with a selection of fresh, locally grown sage and wildflowers to craft your smudge sticks with. We'll also provide you with instructions on drying and eventually using your handmade smudge stick.
